Inter Milan’s Jackpot Year: Set Sights On Serie A & Champions League Glory
Inter Milan enter April 2025 in contention to win the Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia. Just like in 2010.
Inter Milan has spent most of the Serie A season behind Napoli, fighting to prove to everyone that they were ready to fight.
They are now sitting at the top of the table with a three-point lead over Napoli. This after the an important 0–2 win against Atalanta.
While three points might not seem like much, the psychological advantage of surpassing and now extending the lead to Napoli is massive.
Conversely, Napoli may have lost steam.
Once a team has fought its way to the top, it is hard to see them give up the leader’s position. Especially given Inter’s offensive firepower and hunger for victory across the entire team.
